I never want to merely assume anything, but I take a feeling there are a lot of you reading this who know about the TV show Fundamental & Peele, featuring the comedic duo on Comedy Central who bring the laughs every week.

Following the same strategy that has worked for years on shows such as Saturday Night Live and In Living Color, the two comedians use their sense of humor in a way that few tin can.

1 topic they often do best is sports, with them creating skits and generating a ton of buzz for some that they've done.

And considering I think you need a good chuckle today, hither are the funniest Key & Peele sports moments to help get you through your day.

Warning: Some of the post-obit videos contain NSFW content.

The Postgame Interview

1 of ix

One of the worst things about postgame interviews or press conferences in sports is that an athlete rarely really says what's on his mind.

That makes sense, of course, seeing how they're trained constantly on how to handle the media so not to have a major slip-up.

The comedians had some fun with it, too, having the athlete in this skit, Ozamataz Buckshank, refuse to ever really answer the question, giving generic sayings and cliches instead.

Slap-Ass

ii of 9

It's 1 of the strangest traditions in sports, simply slapping another man's behind is commonplace in pretty much every sport as recognition for a job well done.

In some cases, though, not every athlete likes when information technology happens.

That's what Cardinal & Peele show here, every bit an entire locker room of baseball players stand to their donkey-slapping teammate and tell him like it is—even if all he knows is catching fly balls and slapping ass.

You Tin can Do Anything Interview

iii of nine

I have a feeling that this skit got just a lilliputian bit of motivation from the famous "Anything is Possible" postgame interview by Kevin Garnett following his only NBA title in 2008.

With the emotions that run through an athlete following a large win, Key & Peele made sure they let that shine through with this skit, where a basketball player got a little chip also caught up in things.

Ultimate Fighting Match Preview

4 of 9

The UFC is a grown-man's sport, where athletes literally beat the living crap out of one another, with blood flying everywhere while testing the will of the fighters in the Octagon.

For that reason, getting yourself hyped earlier a match is nigh mandatory, creating a hatred for an opponent that might not exist otherwise.

Simply when things go a bit as well far with the threatening words, it can get downright freaky—as this skit shows.

Futbol Bomb

5 of 9

It's no clandestine that soccer players have been known to swoop from time to time, hoping to convince the referee that the tackle on them was a lot tougher than it actually was.

And while we as fans hate the deed that so many players put on, Cardinal & Peele found a reason to poke some serious fun at information technology, having one player well-nigh on his death bed in guild to get his opponent a red carte.

Sadly, this is an all-too-real state of affairs in soccer games.

Excessive Celebration

6 of 9

Although the NFL might be considered the "No Fun League" because it penalizes players for existence themselves during celebrations, if Key & Peele had their style, they would allow virtually anything.

    Everything except three pelvic thrusts.

After rookie broad receiver Hingle McCringleberry gets a little fleck as well excessive with his touchdown dancing, the ref penalizes him for breaking the rules, equally the commentators take a bit of a problem with the teleprompter.

E/Westward College Bowl Intros II

7 of 9

There might be some strange football names out there (looking at y'all, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix).

Then to take some fun with all the ways players innovate themselves at the showtime of games, Key & Peele had this encore Collegiate Basin skit, with them making up characters who would undoubtedly go out any fan wondering what these players' parents were thinking.

Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman Printing Briefing

eight of 9

Seattle Seahawks players Marshawn Lynch and Richard Sherman might be two of the best in the NFL at their respective positions, simply they couldn't exist more than dissimilar when it comes to talking with the media.

In Sherman'southward case, he loves the spotlight, saying anything that comes to his heed when a mic is shoved into his face.

For Lynch, though, he'south a bit more, well, soft-spoken, showing up to talk but so that he "won't get fined."

The ii comedians saw a golden opportunity to take some fun with the ii Pro Bowlers' personalities—and they couldn't have been more spot on.

Eastward/West College Basin Intros I

9 of 9

Cypher beats an original, which is why the Eastward/West College Bowl intros that the two comedians did sits at No. 1 on this list.

As I mentioned in the encore skit, Key & Peele find a mode to come up upwards with some interesting names for themselves every bit they innovate the College Bowl All-Stars—and they are as unforgettable every bit some of our favorite players' real names.
